RPM FRICTION PRO 16MM Hybrid Flat Top V2 – James Ignatowich Signature is a high-performance pickleball paddle designed for aggressive players, fast hands, and tournament competition. This is the signature edition of James Ignatowich, a top 10 professional pickleball player, engineered to maximize power, pop, maneuverability, and spin in modern play styles.

Part of the RPM Friction Pro line, the paddle is co-designed and crafted by James Ignatowich, tailored specifically for high-level competition and advanced players. RPM LABS combined three core technologies—CarbonBite Surface, DwellZone Sweet-Spot, and Tri-Density Core—to deliver revolutionary performance.

Hybrid Flat Top 16MM – Maximum Control, Superior Stability

The Hybrid Flat Top design combines the extended reach of an elongated shape with the fast hand speed of a hybrid, making it exceptionally effective for high balls, attacking volleys, and singles play. Featuring a 16MM core, the James Ignatowich Signature edition delivers:

Superior control and higher stability
Longer dwell time with clear ball feedback
Light, agile swing feel
Quick reflexes during fast-paced exchanges

This paddle is built for players who prioritize an active offensive game, love to dictate the pace with drives, topspins, and smashes, and demand exceptional hand speed and flexibility.

James Ignatowich's Tournament Choice

The 16MM Hybrid Flat Top V2 is the exact paddle used by James Ignatowich in competition, featuring his insight:

“This model is for the aggressive player that wants to play to their strengths.”

RPM FRICTION PRO Core Technologies

CarbonBite Carbon Fiber Surface – Unparalleled Spin
An optimized friction coefficient carbon fiber surface delivering massive spin, true to the RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) philosophy.
DwellZone Sweet-Spot Technology
An internally tuned structure that increases dwell time, expands the sweet spot, and delivers a plush, controllable feel despite high power output.
Tri-Density Core Technology – “The Difference”
A core consisting of three material layers with varying densities, boosting stability near the edges and generating explosive energy on every swing.

Storage
Keep your paddle in a dry, temperature-controlled place, ideally indoors. Avoid leaving it in a vehicle, since extreme heat and cold will damage it over time.

Paddle face and edge guard cleaning
Wipe down your paddle after every session. Clean the edge guard with a damp cloth. For the paddle face, use a paddle eraser for quick spot cleaning, or a slightly damp cloth for a more thorough wipe.

The graphics on your paddle will fade a little over time. Don’t worry, that just means you’re out there putting in the work.

Grip care
Wipe your grip after every session. Sweat, grit, and oils from your hands build up, and regular cleaning helps the grip last longer. You can also add an overgrip of your choice. There are many options, and an overgrip protects the original factory grip.
